BEAR tent heaters at refugee camp in Turku, Finland

Finnish Red Cross has established a temporary refugee camp to Turku, Finland.

To ensure a sleeping place for all refugees the Finnish Red Cross has set up two tents to Turku. Each tent has a bed for 16 refugees.
The tents are heated with BEAR 130 field shelter heaters manufactured and designed by Polartherm. The heat is generated with either diesel or kerosene.
The same heaters are used by the US Air Force to whom Polartherm has delivered so far some 4600 heaters.

Here’s a link to the news in MTV3 Katsomo from September 2nd. The news clip on the refugee camp starts at 3.14.
