Polar 120 HD is a compact heater designed for heating of narrow body aircrafts. It was born as a result of Polartherm’s and Finnair’s long term co-operation and development.

Polar 120 HD and its earlier versions have been in use on airports since 1985 and it has been proven a very reliable and robust heater. Its compact design – long towbar, single axle and good balance – makes it easy to move and allows for operation by one operator .

120 HD has a Yanmar – GTS engine-generator for producing the electricity needed to run the fan and fuel burner. The heat is produced by a diesel burner.
